Over the past 2 days, my tap water has acquired a very strong chlorine odor (it smells like a pool when I wash dishes). I use town water and live in an apt. complex, and tap water from kitchen and bathroom sinks are equally bad. Will this go away, or is this at all normal in apt buildings? I've been here a year and a half and have never had this problem. Thanks for your time.

The water utility in your town is probably adding additional chlorine to the water supply due to a variation in water quality. Everyone in the apratment building should be experiencing the same thing. I can't think of anything inside a building that would casue this to happen. You might call the water utility and ask if they've made any changes that would cause the stronger oders.
