I'm looking for websites that have either directly or indirectly, lead to jobs. Namely, I'd like to see if they are defined by certain characteristic traits such as downloadable PDF resume or simple landing page. I'm open to hearing your deign or job hunting philosophies as well but would really like whatever you are saying to be supported with links to examples. Thanks.

Answer 1+ about 11 hoursAardvark found someone who knows about job hunting
Nater K.31 / M / Brooklyn, NYKnows about: MobileMe • cycling and New York • car buyingi've found the most success in both hiring, and job hunting, by looking at sites that are industry specific, and going from there... namely jobs.37signals.com krop.com etc.Friend 138 / F / Los Angeles, CAThanks for the suggestions. Jobs.37.signals seemed technically focused but Krop.com seemed to offer some really useful resources in terms of their portfolio tool. If its a 'go to' type place, even better. Only problem is that it seems focused on graphic designers and I'm a writer. I have several samples in PDF format available on Scribd that I hyperlink to through my site but I guess I'm not getting the kind of traffic that freelancers get when posting to a go to site. If you wanted to hire a writer to develop web content, where would you go?
