does these sentences sound OK? "Passing the previous steps, you will probably not need to use the spelling feature spellchker.net offers. But the grammar checking is very useful and worth going through."

Friend 126 / F / Mannheim, DEI would rephrase a little. Suggestion: After completion of the previous steps, it not be necessary to run a spell check, however we do recommend that you utilise the grammar proofing feature at this point.

Answer 2+ about 1 hourAardvark found someone who knows about Grammar
Friend 244 / M / London, GBOk, but a few problems that interfere with easy reading:
"Passing" sounds odd. More natural would be "Having accomplished..." (formal) or "If you have done..." (more informal) or "Once you have done..."
I would add "which" (formal) or "that" (informal) before the clause "spellchker.net offers": "spelling feature that spellchker.net offers"
"But" shouldn't really be used to start a sentence in written English (outside of advertising copy...) - it joins two clauses in the middle of a sentence. Instead I would use ",however," or ",on the other hand, " in the second position in the sentence: "The grammar checking, on the other hand, is very useful and worth going through"
"going through" sounds a bit imprecise, I can't think of a better choice of word would be: perhaps changing it round from a passive-like form to active:
However, it is worth your while to use the grammar checking feature at this point"
hope that helps
Tim
