    The sentence sounds pretty good. (Though you should have asked "how does this sentence sound?" :p ). You don't *need* to specify "as a second language", but if that's the point of the sentence, then so be it. I can't think of a better way to word it without knowing more about the surrounding sentences.

    Writing in a foreign language (in this case, English) can be quite difficult, and mistakes are easy to make. These range from misspelled and missing words to grammatical errors and incorrect sentences. Sometimes you can make a mistake and not even know about it!     It's not technically a full sentence. You just have a very complex subject of object. what about "You will learn tools and practices..."

    HOWEVER, it is not clear to me when reading the sentence what "tools and practices" are. Do you mean:
